Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize. 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 (NIV) I am a Christian a Husband, a Father, and of course a Marathon runner. What more could anyone ask?

Long time no post

I am sorry to my reader for not posting, I am sure you have been waiting with high anticipation. So what has been going on. Well the runs have been OK, bad, and great. I attempted 13 miles and completely bonked around 7. Just goes to show not eating correctly will reap havoc on you running schedule. The next day off I completed the 13 miles plus. Eat to run people eat to run.
The Ipod caused it's usual headache, the Ipod Nike trainer just quit one day, then just quit again the next day. have noticed that if I pause my workout it reeks all kind of havoc on it from freeze ups to full on shut downs. So now I no longer pause my workouts. Now as for this Nike Ipod trainer while I do love this thing it is not the best one out their as a matter of fact is is not accurate at all. But it will give you a good judge of time and pace all over your head phones with the push of a button. On that note it has been the cause of most of my headaches. I guess I just love punishment that must be why I run hmmmm. Well next Monday is the Disneyland Half Marathon I am ready and a bit nervous, I ran this race last year and loved it. It was my first

half marathon and a great first. The race starts through the parks you get to run through the back areas of the park and see somethings you would otherwise never get to see. The rest is through Anaheim and you get to run on the Angels baseball field pretty cool. Then you end through the parks again. Alot of fun. So I will be posting a complete review of this race as soon as I get back. Until then

be careful out there
